If you take the word ‘learned’ for any of its literal meanings, i.e. ‘to acquire knowledge’, ‘to be informed’, ‘to memorize’ or ‘to gain’, then you will never learn anything about love.

Is love learnable?

Love just happens. One day its not there, and then, it is. Oh, it will take most people some time to realise they have fallen for love. The truth of this becomes apparent when you ask yourself when did love happen. You will not be able to say, “Yes, it was that day at the park.”

The question to ask is ‘What have you learned in life about what love means to you?’
